WordSmart SAT/ACT Guarantee
(without tutoring service)

After a minimum of 20 hours use on any one or more WordSmart Volumes A through J, WordSmart will increase your SAT score at least 200 points (when your original aggregate score is between 700 and 2000 points) or your ACT test score at least 4 points (when your original score is between 13 and 28 points). If not, WordSmart will refund the purchase price. This guarantee applies up to two years after the date of purchase.
To receive a refund, please send:
- A copy of initial SAT/ACT scores (prior to using the WordSmart program).
- The initial total score on the SAT must be between 700 and 2000.
- The initial score on the ACT must be between 13 and 28.
- A copy of the second SAT/ACT scores showing the failure to meet the guaranteed increase.
- A brief letter signed by the parent and student stating that the product was used for the 20 hour minimum.
- You get the WordSmart user progress report by loading any WordSmart Volume and logging in under the students name. Click on the “Progress” option at the bottom of the page, it is the icon that looks like a bar graph towards the left side. On this Progress screen select the “Time on Task” tab in the upper right. This screen will show all time spend by the student on all WordSmart volumes. Do a screen print of this page, or multiple pages if needed. To do this press the Alt + PrtScn key on your keyboard. Paste this screen print onto a word document and save.
To receive full refund of the purchase price, the customer can send all this information to WordSmart, attention Customer Service. Then call up three weeks later and your account will be noted with the return information (as long as the guarantee parameters were met). Our guarantee can also apply to a PSAT/PLAN score to a SAT/ACT score (please contact us for details on this option).
WordSmart Pro Guarantee (with tutoring service)
After a minimum of 20 hours use on any one or more WordSmart Volumes A through J and completion of a minimum of three practice tests with tutor follow-up your score on the SAT will increase at least 300 points (when your original aggregate score is between 700 and 2000 points). Your ACT score will increase at least 6 points (when your original score is between 13 and 28 points). If not, WordSmart will refund the purchase price. This guarantee applies up to two years after the date of purchase.
